NEW PAINTING KIT HELPS ANYONE BECOME AN ARTIST

Reno, NV - March 15, 2005 - Now a method developed by the ancient Egyptians and used by Leonardo da Vinci is available to painters and would-be painters of all ages.

The new Paint-By-Grid Transfer Sheets from Paint-By-Grids (www.TransferSheets.com) use this ancient method to help anyone (age 7 and up) become an artist-without the math calculations that are usually required. Artists simply tape the transfer sheet to any desired painting surface and use the transparent Image Guides included with each Transfer Sheet pack to sketch one square at a time until the entire sketch is complete. The squares (or grids) ensure the artist's sketch will perfectly match the shape and perspective of the original photograph.

The new Transfer Sheet method differs from the traditional "grid method," where the artist draws a grid onto the original photograph or image that he/she wishes to paint, and then draws a matching grid on the canvas or painting surface. Further, the calculations involved in scaling from the original size to the canvas size are sometimes difficult, particularly when the canvas shape doesn't match the original photo.
