Paint-By-Grids Transfer Sheets work like carbon paper, except they have the Paint-By-Grids grid pattern on the front. Simply tape a transfer sheet onto the surface you wish to paint, such as your favorite brand of canvas or water color paper, a wall, or even decorative painting surfaces such as wood or plaster.

This allows you to quickly sketch your artwork on virtually any surface!

Instructions:

1. Grid your subject image or photograph using one of the included Image-Guides, or an Image-Guide from our GuideSet or Acrylic Kit, by simply overlaying onto your picture. You can also grid your subject image using the Paint-By-Grids software. All of these products use the same grid pattern.
   
   
2. Tape your Transfer Sheet to virtually any flat or cylindrical surface, such as a wall or your favorite water color paper.
   
   
3. Sketch your subject, one cell at a time, onto the Transfer Sheet. Your sketch is transferred to your painting surface.
   
   
4. When you're finished with your sketch, remove Transfer Sheet. Now your painting surface has your accurate drawing without the grids!

Adjusting the size of your Image-Guide transparency adjusts the "zoom level" of your original photograph, while adjusting the size of the Transfer Sheet changes the finished size of your work. In this way, the Paint-By-Grids system allows you to get the exact composition you desire! Moreover, you can combine subjects using different Image-Guides on different subject photos to create a combination of subjects (such as a child's portrait from one photograph with a background from a different photograph).
